Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Compliance: F-Gas Leak Checks and R22 Phase-Out

We specialise in ensuring your refrigeration and air conditioning systems comply with the latest regulations. With our F-Gas certification and REFCOM registration, we provide expert leak checks and system replacements that prioritise efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility.

F-Gas Leak Checks: What You Need to Know

Systems containing more than:

  • 3kg of Fluorinated Gas (F-Gas) or

  • 6kg if hermetically sealed and labeled, or

  • 3kg of Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) Refrigerant

...require regular leak checks by law.

The frequency of these checks depends on the total refrigerant charge. All inspections must be conducted by qualified professionals, and our team has the expertise to ensure full compliance.

​R22 Systems: What Are Your Options?​

As of 1st January 2015, the use of R22 refrigerant has been phased out due to its environmental impact. Systems using R22 can no longer be repaired if:

  • A refrigerant leak occurs.

  • Refrigerant needs to be removed for repair.

Replacement Systems: Cost-Effective and Efficient
